WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP RAIN-SHORTENED TO ONE DAY
THE WOMEN'S INDIVIDUAL CHAMPIONSHIP AT CRAG BURN GOLF CLUB, ORGINALLY SCHEDULED FOR TWO DAYS HAD TO BEREDUCED TO A ONE ROUND EVENT DUE TO RAIN. TUESDAY'S ROUND NEVER STARTED DUE TO WET CONDITIONS AND MORE RAIN. WEDNESDAY'S ROUND BECAME ROUND ONE AND ONLY ROUND PLAYED. THRUSDAY'S SCHEDULED SECOND ROUND WAS ALSO CANCELLED DUE TO RAIN AND CANNOT BE MADE UP. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR FRED HARTRICK HAS ANNOUNCED THAT THIS SEVENTH ANNUAL WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP WILL HAVE TO BE SHORTENED TO THE ONE ROUND THAT WAS PLAYED.
CONGRATULATIONS ARE IN ORDER TO DEFENDING CHAMPION RENE SOBOLEWSKI FOR SHOOTING A 77 AND REPEATING AS CHAMPION. RUNNER - UP WAS NATALIE WISNIEWSKI WHO WAS ONE SHOT BACK AT 78. COMPLETE RESULTS WILL BE POSTED ON THE WEB SITE SOON.

| Once we receive your application and accompanying entry fee, we record your name on our official player list for that event. We will try to keep this updated at least every week. Check on the web site. Remember - we do honor your requests for twosomes/threesomes/foursomes when possible (which is almost ALWAYS!!) but it must be so noted on the entry form. Simply including your partner(s) entry forms in the same envelope will not suffice without a note stating your request... thanks! |
